There cre many words about this Dash 9... Totalled... Busted... Wrecked... I was in Rochelle, IL when this unit was involved in a derailment in Fridley. The frame of this Dash 8 is intacted, but the rest of the unit is totalled. I believe this Dash 9's fate might be the scrap yard, but can BNSF save this unit? |

On July 16th, 2011, a BNSF Grain Train was making a usual run like als the other trains through the Cities, when the a bridge in Fridley gave way from a washout out from the summer rain. The lead Dash 9 only tipped over with minor damage, but the srailing Dash 9, #4663 was not so lucky, she was totalled. Here's a look at her from the St. Anthony Bridge.
