DM&IR: NEVER FORGOTTEN
Title:  DM&IR: NEVER FORGOTTEN
Description:  In this classic scene, which for over 50 years could have been replicated every day and 100s of times are about to end, the end of an era for DM&IR. The classic Maroon and Gold paint and the classic DM&IR power are going to disappear forever, but the DM&IR spirit will live on. THANKS DM&IR FOR MANY GREAT YEARS, YOU NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. A true Minnesota railroad and now a fallen flag. The DM&IR Power are looking on here at Proctor

Classic Scene That Will Faded Into History
Title:  Classic Scene That Will Faded Into History
Description:  A classic scene which will disapper into history, this is a sad reminder of what will happen to the greatest and most true Minnesota railroad, in the next couple of years following this photo, 3/4ths of the SD38/AC/-2 fleet was retired, many of the SD40 - 3 Tunnel Motors gone or repainted, and the SDMs, the best DM&IR rebuilds dissappering into history. The railroad's spirit will still be with us and it will never be forgotten. Today, this scene would be totally different, CN would put many big time locomotives up here, it would include Dash 8 - 40Cs, SD40 - 2s/Ws, SD60Fs, Dash 9 - 44CWs, and GEVOs. the classic DM&IR Power would be no more, THANKS DM&IR FOR ALL THE MANY GREAT YEARS
